Inspiration

The color red/pink is used to highlight the parallels that exist in Ghana society. In Ghana’s flag, the color red is supposed to represent blood and the suffering of people in Ghana. Instead of keeping with the dark meaning behind the color red, I tried to repurpose it to act as emotion or even embarrassment on my mask. The remaining colors gray and black are designed to be muted, which helps make the color red seem more vibrant.
