Inspiration

This mask represents the strength of Ghanaian women. She is inspired by the female superheroes that are often found in comic books. Her cape and outfit is the flag of Ghana. The Gye Nyame in the center of Ghana Woman’s forehead is the symbol for God’s omnipotence and supremacy in all matters. Ghana women are staunchly religious, whether Christian or Islamic.
